Skye Lines

And I'd rather hear the music
When my time may come to die,
Of the wind among the corries
In the far off Isle of Skye.

The café is the front part of the Caledonian Hotel on Wentworth Street in Portree. In there is served what is probably the best traditional breakfast in Portree. They do a decent egg, sausage, bacon or lorne roll, and a few other bits and pieces such as croissants. But it's the full breakfast that makes it worth a visit. It's freshly cooked, it's well cooked and it's served with toast, coffee and a smile. Great value too.

The Calley is open all year round, from breakfast through to high teas.
