The Tourist Information Offices in Broadford, Dunvegan and Portree each has a selection of books and maps for sale. They are often a good place to look for books about the local area, as well as - of course - lots of other stuff.
They are all well signed and easy to find.
- Broadford - in the middle of the main car park by the Co-op
- Dunvegan - on the left as you head out of the village towards the castle
- Portree - by the pay and display car park on The Green, opposite the Royal Hotel
